So you have seen it on television in endless commercials, heard about it on the radio, and see it all over the internet. Now you want a Schticky review to see if it is really all that it claims and if it is worth your hard earned dollar or not.
There is only one problem. Every time you read a review online you feel like you are just trying to be sold on the product. You feel like it is a biased review just to get you to buy it so that someone can make you money.
Well, I understand that. All these sites have the same old junk information and the same old price and they will like just to make a dollar. So here I am not going to provide a review. I am going to write you a review of reviews.
This is simply done by research. What I have done is looked all over the internet through hundreds of pages and gathered the opinions of many people and slimmed all of that information down so that you can see the true pros and cons of the Schticky lint roller.
First thing you need to know is that the Schticky is a silicone type lint roller. This means that you can use it over and over simply by washing it off.
This thing can be used on many different surfaces to clean up many types of messes. Well, at least that is the way they advertise it.
Let me go through some of this for you. The little version of this “handy” little device is suppose to be good for picking up lint and hairs and such from your clothing. Basically, this is much like a normal lint roller, except it could save you money over time.
Now there is another version simply called the Schticky. This is a medium sized version that is suppose to be quite handy for rolling across your couch, tables, sheets, and pretty much anything else. It should be able to pick up crumbs, cereal, and even heavier items like change. I have no clue why you would want to use it for change but whatever floats your boat. I can see it being handy and saving paper towels for small messes on my counter though.
Now there is one more version. It is called the Big Schticky. This one is slightly larger and attached to a long handle. This one is advertised for picking up messes under beds and such. They also recommend using it on your cobwebs in high corners. Now, I do not know about you but I personally hate having to move furniture every so often to vacuum and sweep so I think this could be handy. Not to mention it would prevent me from knocking the dust off of my fan blades down into my face.
So is it really worth it? Does it work? Let me now go over some customer feedback.
Alan Brandt said that he used it for cat hairs on his couch and for his shirt the very next day. He says it worked like a charm after washing it with no apparent lack of being sticky from the water. From a Does It Work Review Site
Keish says it works great for pet hairs and crumbs, even after owning it for a full year! That is impressive. From a Does It Work Review Site
Now according to CleanMySpace.ca, the schticky rolled down her wall after trying to stick it to the wall as advertised. Well, I do not see that this is a big deal, especially since the commercial showed it stuck sideways, not where it could roll!!! What do you expect, it is called GRAVITY.
Other negatives that have been reported were things such as the long handle being shorter than expected, and the hair clogging their sinks when washing it off. I have a solution. Rinse it in a bucket of water or clean out your sink. If you aren’t going to use common sense, then obviously do not buy this.
My conclusion is that this thing is EVERYTHING that it is advertised. I keep seeing positive feedback. So go out and buy it if you think you could use this in some way or another.
